Albany, NY – Mayor Kathy Sheehan and the City of Albany Cannabis Advisory Committee have announced the launch of a Cannabis Survey to help gather community feedback about potential cannabis programs, policies, and operations at the City-level.
The survey includes questions about cannabis dispensaries and on-site consumption hours of operation, how cannabis sales tax revenue should be reinvested, and other questions related to cannabis planning and zoning uses pertaining to the City of Albany.
The survey includes residency, demographic, and stakeholder questions in the to better understand the populations that live, work, and do business in the City of Albany. Demographic questions have been included to ensure that the City is collecting information and data that reflects the racial, ethnic, and gender diversity of the Albany community.

Printed copies of the cannabis survey are available to the public in English and Spanish at the Albany Public Library branches, including Arbor Hill/West Hill, Bach, Delaware, Howe, North Albany, Pine Hills, and the Washington Avenue branch. The Cannabis survey will close on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at 11:59pm.
