ALBANY, NY – Mayor Kathy Sheehan and the City of Albany Equity Agenda Advisory Group are calling on community partners and service organizations to provide additional resources to include in Albany’s Resource Map. This map provides residents with a centralized location for programming opportunities available through both the City of Albany and partner organizations.
In 2018, the City of Albany created an online Resource Map to identify organizations throughout the City that have available programming in an easy-to-read online map that includes hours of operation, cost and contact information for each organization. The map is updated regularly to include the most recent information. The Resource Map can be found on the city’s website
During the pandemic, the Resource Map has become more critical for our City’s youth and families to connect with the resources available to them and identify safe programming available to our residents. If you or your organization have resources available to City residents, please fill out this online form or submit your resources using this template via email.
Any service organizations or community partners that offer resources, programs, initiatives, internships, employment opportunities, food access, after school programs, mental health services, and any other pertinent resources to help provide positive programs for our youth and families would qualify for these purposes.
On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 5 to 7 pm, the Mayors Equity Agenda will be hosting a Q&A session for interested parties to answer questions and assist in uploading information to the excel template. Register for the meeting.
