Fred Coffey contributed many of the images that are seen on this website. Fred is originally from Binghamton, NY. His passion for photography began in high school while he was working on the yearbook. Earlier in his career he worked as a corporate photographer for a major manufacturer for several years, and has also held positions as photography judge and photo lecturer. Fred has been in the Capital district for about 10 years and belongs to several Facebook photo sharing groups, and is the administrator of one of the pages. While photography is no longer Fred's primary occupation, he continues photography as a creative outlet and form of relaxation.
Recently, the City of Albany participated in an exercise with graphic design students at the College of Saint Rose to establish a new brand for the City. Gabriela Gordon was one of the participating students and her design was chosen to represent the City of Albany.
Gabriela has since graduated (in 2020) from The College of Saint Rose the with a BFA in Graphic Design and dual minors in Photography and Art History. In addition to her course work, Gabriela held positions as President and Secretary of Saint Rose’s AIGA Student Group during her time as a student and is now a contributing member to the AIGA Upstate New York chapter. Gabriela’s work has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation and the University & College Designers Association.
Gabriela is currently an in-house Graphic Designer at Envision Architects in downtown Albany, as well as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Photographer. Her portfolio can be viewed on her website. Gabriela strives to uncover and share stories through her practices and uses them as a way to meaningfully connect with others.
