Trick or Trot Pumpkin Run 5K 

Join us at Washington Park on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 3:00 PM for: Trick or Trot - Pumpkin Run 5K

Get in the Halloween spirit by dressing in your favorite costume and joining your friends, family and neighbors as you race through our witch's village, dodge ghouls and ghosts and power through the pumpkin patch.  

This is a great race for all ages with an after-party featuring giveaways, vendors, decorations, DJ, Best Costume prizes, age-based divisional awards and random prize drawings.  All registered runners will receive a wicking fabric shirt and will receive chip timing via ARE Event Productions.  

Registration price is $30.  A $5 discount for children under 10 will be automatically applied at checkout for the timed race.  Kids 5 and under who do not want to be timed and do not want a shirt can register for the free kid's option.

Day of registration will be available for $35.00 for all, ONLY if the event limit is not reached.

Warm-ups and lines start at 3:15 pm, race starts at 3:45 pm for competitive runners who expect to finish in under 35 minutes and 4:30pm for fun run and walkers who expect to finish in 35+ minutes.

Paid Parking: 

Off-street parking for the Trick or Trot Pumpkin Run is available just a short walk from Washington Park at the following ParkAlbany parking lots:

  • Parking Lot 2: Located at 72 Central Avenue
  • Parking Lot 3: Located at 327 Washington Avenue.  DC Fast EV Chargers are available at this location.
  • Parking Lot 4: Located at 124 Central Avenue

Special ground rules in effect: No alcoholic beverages, glass containers of any kind, animals or pets*.  All entry fees are final and non-refundable.  We reserve the right to cancel the race due to weather conditions that cause the running surface to be hazardous to the runners' safety.  City of Albany, AREEP, and affiliate or venue associated with the Trick or Trot Pumpkin Run 5K are not responsible for lost bibs.  Ground rules   are subject to change without notice.  Exceptions made for medical or childcare reasons may be addressed individually.  (*Excludes ADA-defined services).

Strollers are welcome but we strongly encourage runners with strollers to start in the back for the safety of all involved.
