[ARCHIVED] Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan Announces Opening of City Spray Pads Today, Wednesday, May 22

Mayor Kathy Sheehan and Department of Recreation Commissioner Jonathan Jones have announced the opening of the City’s spray pads beginning today, Wednesday, May 22, at 2:00 p.m., seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Black Lives Matter Park
  • Lincoln Park
  • North Swan St. Park
  • Ridgefield Park
  • Rosemont Park
  • Sheridan Park
  • Westland Hills Park

The Department of Recreation is actively completing beginning-of-the-year maintenance on the spray pads at Swinburne Park, Krank Park, and Hackett Park, and they are currently closed. The City of Albany will announce anticipated opening dates for the spray pads at Swinburne Park, Krank Park, and Hackett Park in the coming days.

The City of Albany anticipates announcing the opening of its pools in the coming weeks.
