ALBANY, NY – Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan will host the second “City Hall on the Road” of 2019 today, Tuesday, September 10, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Swinburne Skating Rink.  The third event of 2019 will be held on Tuesday, October 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sidney Albert Albany Jewish Community Center.  These events are designed to give residents the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Mayor Sheehan and City officials, and to access City services after-hours and closer to home.

“My administration continues to make City of Albany departments and resources available to address issues, answer questions, and provide assistance after-hours throughout the City,” said Mayor Kathy Sheehan.  “City Hall on the Road has been well-received each of the past three years, and it is clear Albany residents appreciate the continued opportunity to address their concerns one-on-one with City officials at a time that is convenient for them.”

Whether you need a dog license, a recycling bin, a building inspection or permit, or are curious about grant programs that may be available to residents and business owners, City experts will be on hand to answer these and any other questions you may have.  Mayor Sheehan and City officials will be available for one-on-one meetings on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Since beginning the program in 2016, Mayor Sheehan has hosted 17 City Hall on the Road events throughout Albany.
