MAYOR SHEEHAN & COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO DISTRIBUTE COATS TO CHILDREN

Who: Mayor Kathy M. Sheehan and Cash for Coats program partners Jack & Mark Yonally of Lodge’s Department Store, Burke Companies CEO Tom Burke, Executive Director of The Palace Theatre Billy Piskutz & City School District of Albany Superintendent Kaweeda G. Adams.

Where: Albany School of Humanities (ASH)  108 Whitehall Road, Albany, NY 12209

When: Wednesday, November 20 at 10:00 a.m.
                           
What: Mayor Sheehan and program sponsors will distribute new winter items collected through the 2019 Cash for Coats Drive to Albany School of Humanities students in need. Cash donations were collected throughout the months of October and early November to benefit the drive, which has distributed tens of thousands of brand new coats, hats, gloves, mittens and scarves to Albany children since 2007. Hundreds of coats and more than 3,000 hats/gloves/scarves will be given out to City School District of Albany elementary school children at four different schools this season.
