City of Albany to Host “Safe Stop” Trick-or-Treating on Halloween

ALBANY – The City of Albany is pleased to announce that it will be hosting “Safe Stop” Trick-or-Treating at City of Albany offices and at two neighborhood police stations on Halloween (Thursday, October 31) from 3 to 5 p.m. Treats, as in candy, will be provided. Many of the staff will be in costume. City Trick or Treating - Final.

The Hoffman & Arbor Hill Community Centers will be hosting Halloween Parties from 5-8:30 p.m. At these two Community Center events, there will be games, food, candy, as well as costume contests and prizes. View Halloween Parties flyer here.

What: “Safe Stop” City of Albany Trick-or-Treating 
When: Halloween, Thursday, October 31, from 3-5 p.m. (except for parties at the Hoffman and Arbor Hill Community Centers, which will be held from 5-8:30 p.m.)
  • Hoffman (7 Hoffman Ave.) & Arbor Hill Community Centers (50 North Lark Street) – 5-8:30 p.m. (games, food, candy, costumes contests and prizes)
  • City Hall, 24 Eagle St. (candy and fruit; 8 offices)
  • One Stop Shop - 200 Henry Johnson Boulevard (candy; four offices - corner of Livingston and Henry Johnson Blvd., next to Stewart’s, parking and entrance in rear)
  • Police Stations
  • South Station - 126 Arch St, Albany, NY (candy)
  • Center Station - 536 Western Ave, Albany, NY (candy - at The Point)
