Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan Announces 2019 City Hall on the Road Schedule

February 20, 2019

ALBANY, NY - Today, Mayor Kathy Sheehan announced the 2019 schedule for “City Hall on the Road” that begins Tuesday, April 2, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Albany Housing Authority Headquarters – the first of three such events this year (full list of events below).  These events are designed to give residents the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Mayor Sheehan and City officials, and to access City services after-hours and closer to home.

“My administration continues to make City of Albany departments and resources available to address issues, answer questions, and provide assistance after-hours throughout the City,” said Mayor Kathy Sheehan.  “City Hall on the Road has been well-received each of the past three years, and it is clear Albany residents appreciate the continued opportunity to address their concerns one-on-one with City officials at a time that is convenient for them.”

Whether you need a dog license, a recycling bin, an inspection or permit from the Department of Buildings and Regulatory Compliance, or are curious about grant programs that may be available to residents and business owners, City experts will be on hand to answer these and any other questions you may have.  Mayor Sheehan and City officials will be available for one-on-one meetings on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Since beginning the program in 2016, Mayor Sheehan has hosted 16 City Hall on the Road events throughout Albany.
