For Immediate Release: July 30, 2019  
ALBANY, NY – A 19-year-old Albany man has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman on Frost Place Sunday afternoon and then forcing her to retrieve cash from a nearby ATM. 
On Sunday, July 28, 2019 at approximately 1:20 p.m., officers responded to the SEFCU located on Patroon Creek Boulevard following a call that a woman was being taken to the bank against her will. Upon arrival, officers encountered Quaraione Lomack with the victim at the bank’s ATM and took him into custody. 
Through the investigation, officers learned that Lomack had forced his way into the victim’s home while armed with a knife and sexually assaulted her. Lomack then forced the victim into her car and made her withdraw cash from the bank’s ATM. 
The victim was evaluated at a local hospital. 
SEFCU security personnel assisted with the investigation.  
Lomack was charged with Rape 1st, Kidnapping 2nd, Robbery 1st and Burglary 1st. 
He was arraigned in the Albany County Jail and remanded to the Albany County Jail.  
The investigation remains ongoing and more charges may be forthcoming.
