The City of Albany and Albany Parking Authority is requesting Proposals from qualified consultants, individuals, and firms to provide PORTABLE HANDHELD TICKET COLLECTION SERVICES related to the RFP 2023-02. This Request for Proposals (RFP) may not be the same as previous requests for proposals intended for this type of service. Therefore, all potential proposers are urged to review this package in detail before submitting their proposal. Copies of the RFP are available at the City of Albany Department of Law, 24 Eagle Street, Room 106, Albany, New York 12207. Proposals are due on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM EST and proposals will be accepted by physical delivery, mail, or electronic submission on BidNetDirect.com. Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing following the instructions outlined in Section 10 of the RFP. Questions submitted Tuesday February 7, 2023 at 5:00 PM EST will not be answered.

Qualifications:
Question #1: Who does the Parking Authority currently use for booting and towing?
Answer #1: The City of Albany does their own booting and uses local towing contractors.
Question #2: What is the term of the contract?
Answer #2: The Term of the potential agreement is three (3) years with three (3) successive one
(1) year options.
Question #3: Does the Parking Authority have a preference for Android or IOS devices?
Answer #3: The City of Albany currently uses Android, but either system is okay to use, as long
as it meets the weather conditions.
