MAN WHO POINTED HANDGUN AT WOMAN ARRESTED

ALBANY, NY – A 42-year-old Albany man has been charged with weapons possession following a domestic related incident in which he pointed a handgun at a woman on Lark Street. 
 
Jaquard Ross was arrested yesterday following an investigation by members of the Albany Police Department. 
 
On Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at approximately 7:00 a.m., a female victim told officers that while she was in the area of Lark Street and Livingston Avenue, Ross pointed a handgun at her. 
 
Following an investigation into the incident, as well as a tip to Capital Region Crime Stoppers, a loaded .45 caliber handgun was also recovered.  
 
Ross has been charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, and one count of Menacing 2nd. 
 
He was arraigned in the Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail.
