ALBANY POLICE INVESTIGATING SHOOTING

ALBANY, NY - Albany police are currently investigating an incident in which four people were shot this morning on Lexington Avenue.

At approximately 1:15 a.m., officers responded to the area of First Street and Lexington Avenue for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located four individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds. One victim was shot in the arm, another victim was shot in the ear, and two others sustained gunshot wounds to their legs.

All four were treated at the scene by medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

While the incident remains under investigation, all four victims have been highly uncooperative with the police.
