[ARCHIVED] ARREST MADE IN STATE STREET BANK ROBBERY

ALBANY, NY – A 28-year-old Poughkeepsie man has been charged in connection with a bank robbery that occurred this afternoon on State Street.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded to TD Bank, located at 125 State Street for reports of a robbery. Upon arrival, an employee told officers that a man approached the counter inside the bank and passed a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.

Shortly after the incident, Ryan Delury was taken into custody during a traffic stop on the New York State Thruway with the assistance of the New York State Police.

Delury has been charged with one count of Robbery 3rd following an investigation by members of the Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit and is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow in Albany Criminal Court.
