Mayor Jennings announced that the City of Albany has won top honors for the best tasting water in the Capital District during a blind taste test held at Alive at Five at the Albany Riverfront.  Last month, Albany water was selected as the best tasting water in Albany County, defeating water from Latham, Bethlehem, Guilderland and Cohoes.  Now, Albany will go on to compete in the New York State Fair for the best tasting water in the State.  Albany won that coveted award in 2007 and is looking forward to competing for that title later this month in Syracuse.
