Summer Employment opportunities for 18-24 year olds!!
Prepare for the Green Collar Economy this Summer!
This new summer employment opportunity will teach you how to analyze existing homes and solve residential energy efficiency issues. In this introduction to building science program, you will begin to learn about building energy performance and understand problems caused by environmental and design factors.
This program will run for 6 weeks and you will be employed for 20 hours each week –
Weekly hours will consist of 4 hours of classroom and online training and 16 hours of field experience in the building trades.
If you successfully complete this program, you may be eligible to continue your training so that you can become a Building Analyst Professional.
Funds for this program are provided by the U.S. Department of Labor and can only be used to employee summer youth employees who are income eligible for the program. The income guidelines for this program are:

Families who receive any type of public assistance, (food stamps, cash assistance, etc) are also automatically eligible for this program and youth who receive SSI or who have an IEP are also eligible. We cannot enroll youth in this program if they don’t meet the income requirements.
