The memorial is inscribed with the names of police officers who have lost
their lives in the line of duty across New York State. It serves to remind
visitors of the tremendous sacrifice made by these brave officers, and their
families, for the safety of their communities.
The City of Albany will
host law enforcement officers from across the State who come to attend the
New York
State Police Officer's Memorial.
