Getting Around

Transportation around New York’s Capital City is easy.  Albany is the meeting point of 1-90 and I-87.  It also has several highways that travel in and around our city including I-787 and Rte. 85.  Public transportation is provided through the Capital District Transportation Association (CDTA) offering hundreds of bus routes through Albany and the entire Capital Region.

Located just minutes away from the Albany International Airport, Greyhound Bus Station and the Rensselaer Amtrak station, Albany is accessible from points around the globe.

Located on the shore of the Hudson River, Albany is easy to access from boat.
