Bridget Pardo, Director of Fiscal Operations The consolidation of the Department of Public Safety provides a centralized location for all fiscal responsibilities from which all financial transactions occur. The Fiscal Unit provides financial support for the Department of Public Safety to include the Police Department, Fire Department, Building and Codes, Communications and Traffic Engineering. The responsibilities of the Fiscal Unit will be under the supervision of the Director of Fiscal Operations while simultaneously receiving guidance from the Fiscal Affairs Consultant. Jointly, these two individuals oversee the maintenance of existing grants while simultaneously searching for alternative funding sources; prepare budgets and monitor and supervise all financial transactions as well as process all human resource requests. In addition, this unit is responsible for processing payroll, facilitating departmental purchases and overseeing the maintenance all the Public Safety buildings.< |
