Directions to event parking for Albany Riverfront Park:
Parking is located in surface lots and garages along Broadway. Access concert site via the Hudson River Way Pedestrian Bridge.
From the Northway (I 87) - to I 90 East (Albany), to 787 South, Exit at Clinton Avenue. Turn left on Broadway. Surface parking lots, garages and street parking are located along Broadway and throughout downtown. Access the event via the Hudson River Way Pedestrian Bridge at Broadway and Pine Street
From the NYS Thruway - exit 23 - to 787 N - to Exit 4 for DOWNTOWN ALBANY, follow road along the river, to Clinton Avenue. Surface parking lots, garages and street parking are located along Broadway and throughout downtown. Access the event via the Hudson River Way Pedestrian Bridge at Broadway and Pine Street
Directions to event Rain Location - Corning Preserve Boat Launch under I-787 Bridge
From the North - Take I-787 South to Colonie St. exit. Turn right at the light onto Colonie St. Take the first left onto Erie St. Enter the parking lot straight ahead.
From the South -Take I-787 North to Exit 4. Stay right on the service road past the Clinton Ave. exit and follow the sign for Colonie St. Proceed straight through the light. Take the first left onto Erie St. Enter the parking lot straight ahead.
From Downtown - Proceed North on Broadway past Clinton Ave. and under the Railroad Bridge. Turn right on North Ferry St. Turn right onto Erie St. Enter the parking lot straight ahead.
From Downtown(Alternate) - Proceed south on Broadway past State. St. and SUNY Central. Stay left and take the first possible left under I-787. Take the left on the other side of the underpass. Stay right on the service road past the Clinton Ave. exit and follow the sign for Colonie St. Proceed straight through the light. Take the first left onto Erie St. Enter the parking lot straight ahead.
From Dunn Memorial Bridge - Take I-787 North exit marked "Troy" on the bridge. Get off almost immediately at Clinton Ave. exit. Stay right and follow the sign for Colonie St. Proceed straight through the light. Take the first left onto Erie St. Enter the parking lot straight ahead.
Handicapped parking:
- The Columbia Street Garage which is equipped with elevators and is directly connected to the Hudson River Way
- Corning Preserve Parking lot (near the Riverfront Bar and Grille)
- EXTREMELY LIMITED (5 spots) on Quay Street near the Riverfront visitors building
Directions to event parking for Washington Park:
FROM THE SOUTH - Take the NY State Thruway to Exit 23. Proceed through the tollbooth onto 787 N for approximately 1.5 miles. Take exit 4 (Rt. 20 & 9 West) and follow the signs for Route 20 W. This will put you on Madison Ave. Go past the Empire State Plaza. You will pass the intersections of Swan Street, then Lark Street, then Willett Street. Washington Park (festival site) is ahead on your right. Parking is available on streets surrounding the park.
FROM THE NORTH - Take I-87 South to I-90 East. Proceed to Exit 6, the Arbor Hill (or Henry Johnson Blvd) Exit. Bear right towards Arbor Hill. Take this street across the viaduct to the intersection of Central Ave. Cross Central, then cross Washington Avenue. At next intersection, turn left onto State Street. Washington Park (festival site) is on your right. Parking is available on streets surrounding the park.
FROM THE EAST - Take I-90 West. Proceed to Exit 6, the Arbor Hill (or Henry Johnson Blvd) Exit. Bear right towards Arbor Hill. Take this street across the viaduct to the intersection of Central Ave. Cross Central, then cross Washington Avenue. At next intersection, turn left onto State Street. Washington Park (festival site) is on your right. Parking is available on streets surrounding the park.
FROM THE WEST - Take the NY State Thruway to Exit 24. After you pay your toll, you will go straight onto I-90 East. Proceed to Exit 6, the Arbor Hill (or Henry Johnson Blvd) Exit. Bear right towards Arbor Hill. Take this street across the viaduct to the intersection of Central Ave. Cross Central, then cross Washington Avenue. At next intersection, turn left onto State Street. Washington Park (festival site) is on your right. Parking is available on streets surrounding the park.
