The City of Albany has launched a web-based assessment database application. Residents are now able to search for and compare data from parcels around the city.

RFP for Structural Engineering

The City of Albany is requesting proposals from qualified engineering
firms to provide professional structural engineering services
related to the emergency evaluation of privately owned buildings/
structures located in the City of Albany.  The services include evaluating
buildings/structures for structural stability and outlining emergency
remediation recommendations to the Department of Fire, Emergency &
Building Services.  Copies of the RFP are available at the Department
of Law, City Hall – Room 106, Albany, New York 12207, (518) 434-5050. 
Responses are due on or before 1:00 p.m. on May 27, 2008.
